The breath is our teacher. I’m simply here to bring us back to it and remind us that as long as we stay with it, we can move through anything. No matter the heat. No matter the obstacle. And we’re gonna have so much fun doing it. LET’S GO!

Outside the Hot Room

I’m a full time TV/film writer and showrunner. Monday thru Friday, if I’m not doing yoga I’m in oversized clothes, staring at a screen, slamming coffee, pacing my office and talking to myself all while a heating pad is strapped to my lower back.

Guilty Pleasure

Too many. But inhaling an ENTIRE party sized bag of SkinnyPop while binging a dating reality show and constantly pausing it to psychoanalyze the contestants is definitely in the top 3. Add a Diet Coke on crushed ice with lots of lime on the side and I’m done. Stick a fork in me.

Fun Fact

In 2025, I made history by being the first black woman to create a TV show for the Adult Swim network.
